Kathy Herranen has been creating and marketing her hand-painted glass and stained glass wind chimes since 1995. The chimes are reminiscent of those imported more than 40 years ago, and people who remember those nostalgic chimes are delighted to discover Kathy's selection of nearly 100 varieties in a number of styles and sizes.
    Her hand-paintings are baked onto the glass to be long-lasting and colorful. She also takes orders for chimes designed with paintings of the customer's pets, or for weddings, anniversaries and family trees, as well as specific stained glass color schemes.
    A working artist for more than 30 years, Kathy is a pastelist who specializes in portraits of people and animals. She is currently membership chairman for the Arizona Pastel Artists Association, a member of Desert Sage Artists, juried member of the Arizona Art Alliance, and life-time member and past-president of Artists and Craftsmen of the Flathead Valley (Montana), which she founded in the 1970s.. Her paintings have been reproduced in newspapers and magazines across the country and her biography appears in a number of Who's Who publications, including the current Marquis Who's Who in the World.
